That expected unity call

No sooner than I predict a pre-election unity call (although I don’t claim this was a particularly insightful prediction) Gordon Brown calls for it himself, at a private meeting, the BBC reports.

It ties in with Labour’s slump to 23% popularity, and the day that newspapers reported that Gordon Brown’s make-up details had been sold to the Sun by a taxi driver, after a government junior left them on his way to Kings X. I would say that the news made Brown red in the face, but 23% is no laughing matter!!
